American College of Rheumatology (ACR) Rheum2Learn 2.0: Small Vessel Vasculitis
Estimated time: 10–15 min. (Cases 2 and 3 only)
Rheum2Learn 2.0 is a free, case-based online program from the ACR that uses interactive patient cases to build core skills in recognizing and managing rheumatic diseases. Flexible and self-paced, it’s designed for students, residents, and general internists.
Cases 2 and 3 in the Small Vessel Vasculitis module focus on the clinical presentation, diagnostic workup, and management of ANCA-associated and immune-mediated small vessel vasculitides. Through interactive cases, learners practice recognizing key systemic and organ-specific findings (e.g., renal, pulmonary, skin involvement), interpreting relevant laboratory studies such as ANCA serologies and urinalysis, and distinguishing small vessel vasculitis from important mimics. Completing these cases strengthens clinical reasoning around vasculitis diagnosis and reinforces principles of timely evaluation and treatment to prevent end-organ damage. -
Estimated time: 10 min.
A set of 20+ high-yield flashcards have been created to support review of key concepts from this session. The flashcards emphasize classic clinical features, diagnostic clues, and management principles of small vessel vasculitis and can be reviewed using the provided link.
