Workflow Details
- As usual, CBL sessions will be delivered as eBooks (via Jamf to your iPads right before your sessions) and on E.Flo MD in the session resources.
- Prompt a student to beam the case onto the Zoom Room screen.
- You will also be using the SimCapture EMR/EHR in every session as well.
- Please use Chrome
- at the start of each session
- EMR/EHR login information
- How to use SimCapture EMR/EHR
- Navigate the cases
Please log in to SimCapture at https://sim.medicine.wsu.edu/.
Log in to SimCapture with your WSU credentials:
-
- Login: Everything before the @ in your WSU email (also known as your WSU Network ID)
- Password: Your WSU password
See our tech help here.
- On the main EMR/EHR screen, click the down carat to see a list of links to each patient and session.
- In the ebook, when you are prompted by the EMR buttons to check the EMR, follow the prompts with the specific tab to check (don’t peek at later tabs!).
- Facilitators, please make sure your groups do everything in the cases.
If a student accidentally hits the Submit button in the EMR early, email the response to Chris Martin, and he will put it in. Please don’t make this common knowledge!
Recommendations for managing multiple sets of materials
(do whatever works best for you!)
Consider bringing two devices: one (an iPad) for reading the case + a laptop for using the EMR.
An alternative workflow is using Split View on the iPad.
Toggle between the case book and the EMR browser on your laptop.
