Helping Babies Breathe (HBB) resuscitation was initiated
for neonatal asphyxia within the first “golden minute” with bag and mask. The baby boy began to breathe, recovering apgar scores at 5 minutes and was placed on Nasir’s chest to keep warm.
Nasir and her newborn were discharged in excellent condition, successfully breastfeeding, two days later.
