Cellular physiology is the study of the vital functions and processes that occur within living cells to sustain life. It focuses on how cells communicate, transport substances, produce energy, and carry out metabolic activities. This field examines the function of cellular organelles and how cells respond to their environment. Understanding cell physiology helps explain how cells contribute to the overall function of tissues and organisms.
