It was wonderful to see all of you at at the Mad Rad Med Mixer! Here are some details about how we created the portraits of you with the Maitlands from Beetlejuice—using Adobe Express, which all of us lucky students, staff, and faculty have access to!

  1. Go to new.express.adobe.com and choose Start from your content.
  1. Upload your image files to Adobe Express.
    • Background image: In our case, I took a screenshot from the Beetlejuice movie, then used the Skew tool in Photoshop to make it square.
    • Feature photo: These are the photos of ourselves that we took. (A fairly plain background is optimal.) What do you think of my Lydia Deetz look?
  1. On the feature photo, use the Remove Background tool to make the space around your person transparent. Add whatever effects you like!
  1. Download the image and voilà: You are ready to make a photo with the ghost with the most!

Moving pictures

This is based on the activity that our resident multimedia genius Danielle created last year (see here for a recap of the Ministry of Magic Most Wanted poster).
